Tom Wendlandt gave a pretty accurate description of the 2011 White Sox season. The 2011 season was a disappointing and disturbing year on the great Southside of Chicago, and the author didn't sugarcoat the season. The only mistake he made in his book was when he said that Jack Brickhouse announced both Chicago teams from 1948-1962. Jack Brickhouse announced both teams from 1948-1967.I can't give the book 5 stars simply because half of the book is about the bad guys from the Northside of Chicago. I have about as much interest in reading about the Cubs as Cubs fans have reading about the White Sox.Product details
